We often talk about multi-monitor support on both Windows 10 and macOS.

If you open the Game Bar on a different monitor than the one you’ve pinned an overlay on, e.g., on your primary monitor, the overlay that’s pinned to the secondary monitor will jump to the primary one and stick there until you open the Game Bar on the secondary monitor again. Since this is a workaround, it does have limitations. All other performance indicators such as GPU, CPU, and RAM will be reported for the system since they aren’t specific to a monitor. If you’re pinning the Performance overlay, you should know that the FPS reading will be for the monitor that it is open on. As with the primary monitor, you will not be able to drag these overlays off the secondary monitor and on to the primary one. Once the Game Bar is open on the secondary monitor, you can enable its overlays and pin them to the secondary monitor. This will open the Game Bar on the secondary monitor. Once the app has been moved to the monitor you want to open the Game Bar on, tap the Win+G keyboard shortcut. If the app opens on the primary window, drag it over to the secondary monitor.

On this monitor, open any app of your choice. I did it, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS! I decided to look into the reviews of the Xbox game bar page and saw majority had 1/5 star reviews saying the same problem. On your desktop, go to the secondary monitor that you want to open the Game Bar on. Open the Start menu, and select Settings > Gaming and make sure Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Xbox Game Bar is On." "If nothing happens when you press the Windows logo key + G, check your Xbox Game Bar settings. I tried looking it up from the official xbox website and all it was just "how do I use it?" nothing really about error except the official microsoft website where it states Anyways, it said "download" and I thought "maybe I need to uninstall it and install it" so I downloaded it and it still isn't working. I'm really confused because when I got my windows, the microsoft game bar was already in my computer. What account? My xbox account or my store account (,I logged out of my accounts and logged back in and nothing helped)? It showed the "See in store" link to the Xbox game bar page on the microsoft store. Make sure you are signed in to the Store and try again." Every time I press the hot keys to activate any game bar mechanics, it just shows an error "Xbox Game Bar is currently not available in your account. For some reason, my Xbox game bar I use to record my pc games (not from microsoft store) isn't working.
