So at least we can expect a huge leap forward in the graphical sector. They have to understand the formula of Dead Space and be willing to go the extra mile(s) wherever and whenever necessary.įrom a technology point of view, the Frostbyte Engine which will be used for the remake is a force to reckon with. A remake of Dead Space however is a bold undertaking, it has to stay true to the look and feel of the game if they want to succeed. And most certainly the fans of the game wouldn't welcome a plain remaster for that very reason.
Think because Dead Space has aged well indeed, the developers thought there's only so little improvement to gain with a remaster.
